BENEFITS OF PADI SCUBA DIVER :
The declaration of acceptance of risk diving
PADI medical statement ( RSTC Medical Form)

If you answer "yes" to one or more questions on the medical statement then you should take extra consideration (a doctor’s consent is sufficient)
Additionally, if you are under 18 , take extra consideration of your medical state.

PADI SCUBA DIVER STRUCTURE
The Scuba Diver is comprised of 3 parts, the contents of which are taken from the Open Water course.
  1.     Theoretical knowledge (3 out of 5 of the chapters in Open Water)
  2.     Three confined water sessions (either in a pool or calm water) which can be completed in one or more dives
  3.     Two training dive sessions in a natural environment
The theoretical part teaches you the concepts necessary to maintain your safety underwater.
This gives a better understanding of the marine environment and helps to prevent problems under water
The confined water training consists of various basic exercises, that you will move on to in the natural environment
The natural environment dives allow you to apply your new skills underwater and follow a guide to the depth of 12m.

WHAT TEACHING TOOLS ARE PROVIDED WITH THE COURSE?

Upon your arrival at ATLANTIS, we provide  you with:
  • A full registration dossier.
  • A logbook for your dives.
The theoretical learning is essentially "self-learning". We correct you with the Knowledge Reviews and questionnaires and the instructor is always available to go over any questions. This method allows you to learn at your own pace.

I HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED QUALIFICATIONS WITH ANOTHER DIVING ORGANISATION, HOW CAN I GET THE SCUBA DIVER QUALIFICATION?
Simply fill in the same folder that a beginner would fill in.
Then, then the instructor will evaluate your knowledge and practice before issuing you with the certification.
In some cases, additional dives can be made to meet the performance requirements of the course.

OPTIONS FOR THE THEORY: PADI E-LEARNING

If you do not want to do theory "work" during your holiday, opt for eLearning!
PADI eLearning ® is a learning tool. Divers who complete the PADI eLearning program meet most or all of the requirements necessary for the theoretical training for the program. If deemed necessary, they must undergo a quick revision test with an instructor.
The eDossiers confirm that the requirements have been met and shall expire one year after the date of the last theoretical section completed.

Hi there

I'm just after some info, a quick yes or no answer would be great if you're busy :-)

Am I able to work on Guadeloupe as a PADI Divemaster? I don't have any other diving qualifications and i'm worried it's not possible on the French islands...

Thanks

Peter

Hello there!

I am taking the theoretical portion of SCUBA this spring at my university. They will give me a referral to bring to Atlantis to do the two open water dives needed for certification. How much will this cost? Less than 189? Thanks!
